How long does an EPDM rubber roof last?

Firestone quote a life expectancy of up to 50 years for RubberCover EPDM when it's installed properly. That's significantly longer than traditional felt flat roofs.

Can EPDM go over my existing felt roof?

In most cases we strip the old roof completely. That lets us check and replace any rotten timber and lay a fresh deck, so the new rubber roof has a solid base and lasts as long as it should.

How long does it take to fit?

A typical garage or single-storey extension roof is usually done in one to two days, weather permitting.
